YouTube Shorts Music Video Remix

YouTube has unlocked more ways to get creative on the platform with the new ability to remix a music video on Shorts.

To use this feature, tap ‘Remix’ directly from the music video to choose from four options: Sound, Green Screen, Cut, and Collab.

To take just the sound from the music video and use it as the soundtrack for your Short, tap ‘Sound’.

You can tap ‘Green Screen’ to use the music video as the background imagery to your Short.

‘Collab’ can be used to create a Short right alongside the music video, and ‘Cut’ can be used to cut a 5-second clip from it to add to a Short.
