Instagram Metrics Update

Instagram is switching up its analytics pages in order to put more of a focus on reach rather than traditional followers and likes.
‘Views’ will now be the primary element of focus across all formats, including Reels, Live, Feed Posts, and Stories.
These changes aim to ensure that you have the same metrics across the board, helping you better understand how your content is performing.
As part of this switch-up, repeat views of all content will now be counted, similar to how plays and replays have been counted for Reels.
The focus of metrics is being shifted away from follower count, as this is no longer important due to Instagram’s recommendation algorithm.
