YouTube Music Monthly Audience Artist Metric

YouTube Music is rolling out a new fan-facing public metric for artists called monthly audience to replace the current subscriber count.

Your monthly audience will update daily to show a total number of unique listeners and viewers from the last 28 days.

It is calculated by estimating the number of unique users globally who have viewed or listened to your content across all YouTube formats.

This includes collaborations on other channels featuring your music and fan-made videos or Shorts with your music.

Monthly audience is currently in the testing phase and not yet widely rolled out, so keep an eye out for it.
