YouTube Dream Screen & Veo 2

YouTube has announced the arrival of a new element to its AI capabilities – Dream Screen 6-second clips and Veo 2.

Originally launched in 2023, Dream Screen lets you generate backgrounds limited only by your imagination in YouTube Shorts.

With this update, you’ll now be able to generate 6-second standalone video clips for your Shorts, with the help of Veo 2.

Veo 2 is Google DeepMind’s newest generative video model and one of the first mobile-first models available on the market.

You can also stitch together multiple generated 6-second clips in order to create a longer video.
