Instagram Algorithm Control

Instagram has announced a new way users can control their algorithm and the Reels they see on their feed using AI.

Using this new AI tool, users can view and personalise the topics that shape their Reels feed, making recommendations more relevant.

To find the tool, tap the icon in the upper right corner of your Reels feed (two lines with hearts) to open Your Algorithm.

Here, you can see what topics the platform thinks you’re interested in and choose which topics you want to see more or less of.

There is also an option to share your algorithm interests to your Story, letting friends and followers see what you’re into.
