YouTube is expanding its likeness detection technology to the entertainment industry, including management companies and the artists they represent.

Similar to Content ID, likeness detection looks for AI-generated content featuring a participant’s likeness and gives them the power to request removal.

This tool has been developed with support from leading talent agencies and management companies, including CAA, UTA, WME, and Untitled Management.

With this support, YouTube has refined how likeness detection can best serve talent working in the entertainment industry.

If you are an entertainer with management, you will be eligible to access this tool, regardless of whether you have a YouTube channel.
