IMS Electronic Music Business Report 2026

The IMS Ibiza conference has come to a close, and this year’s IMS Electronic Music Business Report is now available for all to read.

This report provides a definitive annual snapshot of the electronic music industry, where it stands today and where it is headed.

Published by Mark Mulligan and MIDiA Research, the report includes the much-anticipated annual industry valuation figure.

It states that in 2025, the size of the electronic music market reached $15.1 billion, up 7%, an acceleration from the 6% growth recorded in 2024.

It also states that, when it comes to recorded music, the electronic music sector is outpacing the wider market.
