TikTok’s ‘Add to Music App’ Update

TikTok has announced that its music discovery feature Add to Music App has been used to save more than 6 billion tracks over the last year.

The feature, which rolled out in 2024, is a simple way for users to save songs that they discover on TikTok to their preferred streaming service.

The 6 billion track saves go on to represent many more billions of streams in repeat listening across platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

This conversion delivers tangible impact for the music industry, including significant royalty generation for artists and rightsholders.

TikTok have also revealed the Top 20 most-saved tracks globally via Add to Music App over the last year on their blog site.
