Deezer Remix Lab

Deezer has launched Remix Lab, a feature that lets fans remix songs on the platform with the full approval of artists and rightsholders.

The resulting remixes can then be streamed and added to playlists, with artists compensated in line with the rights owed to them.

Currently available only in France, the feature is launching with a limited selection of tracks with plans to expand later.

Deezer says this is the first feature of its kind in the music streaming space, offering fans a new way to engage with music.

Remix Lab is designed to be simple and accessible, allowing users to reimagine and rediscover tracks they already love in just a few clicks.
