Tidal’s AI Policy

Tidal has become the latest streaming platform to take a stand against AI-generated music, introducing a new policy that blocks monetisation.

The new policy prevents fully AI-generated music from earning money on the platform in any form.

Tidal will also use automated tools to remove AI-generated music that attempts to impersonate existing artists.

Alongside these changes, fully AI-generated music on Tidal will be clearly identified and tagged to improve transparency for users.

These tracks will not be eligible for monetisation, royalties, or direct-to-fan sales.
