2026 J Awards Nominees

The 2026 J Awards nominees have been announced, celebrating the best of Australian music across five categories.

It’s big news for our artists, with DEVAURA nominated for Unearthed Artist of the Year and Nerve up for Australian Album of the Year for Growing Pains.

Leading the nominations is Genesis Owusu with three nods for his latest release, Australian Live Act of the Year and Australian Music Video of the Year for “STAMPEDE”.

Other nominees include Ecca Vandal, Julia Jacklin and Miss Kaninna, each earning two nominations, alongside a strong mix of established names and emerging talent.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 12th November during triple j Drive from 3pm (AEDT), celebrating another standout year for Australian music.
