TikTok Music Tab Update

If you have yet to apply to have the music tab featured on your TikTok, now is the time, as you can now apply directly in the app.

All you have to do is head to your profile, click Creator Tools, then Artist Hub, and finally, hit Apply Now.

With the music tab, you will receive an array of handy tools, including the ability to highlight releases, ‘New’ music tags on your freshly released songs, ‘By Artist’ videos, and more.

If you have over four songs on your music tab and over 100 videos created using that music, you will also get an ‘Artist’ label underneath your TikTok handle.

In a similar vein to the blue tick verification, TikTok is signifying artists with this label to make sure they are front and centre with their music.
