Add Music on WhatsApp

WhatsApp has introduced the ability to add music to your status updates, adding the perfect soundtrack to your shared moment.

When creating a status on the app, you will now be able to see a music note icon at the top of your screen.

Tap on the icon and you’ll unlock a library of songs to pick from to be posted with your status update.

You can also choose the exact part of the song that fits the post – up to 15 seconds for a photo and 60 seconds for a video.

Being WhatsApp, your status will be end-to-end encrypted so only communicating members will be able to see what you have shared.
