AIR Awards 2026 Nominations

The AIR Awards are back for 2026, with nominations now open and set to close on Friday, March 13.

To reflect the cultural impact of Australian dance and electronic music, AIR has expanded its dance and electronic award categories this year.

There are three updated awards up for grabs: Best Independent Dance/Club Single, Best Independent Electronic Single, and Best Independent Electronic Album/EP.

Other category examples include Best Independent Pop Album/EP, Independent Album of the Year, Independent Song of the Year, and many more.

The awards will take place on July 30, recognising achievements across Australia’s independent music community at the iconic Adelaide Town Hall.
