Beatport is the latest platform to outline a policy detailing how AI-generated music will be handled.

The platform states that while it appreciates innovations in technology, it is imperative that it preserves the foundations of human creativity that dance music was built upon.

Whether you are a subscriber or purchaser of content, it is strictly prohibited to use Beatport’s content for the purpose of training AI systems.

Any content that Beatport suspects may have been fully AI-generated will be removed from the platform.

This stance is similar to those adopted by other platforms, and it seems more and more will stop accepting fully AI-generated music.
