Deezer AI Detection Tool Update

A year after the launch of Deezer’s AI music detection tool, the company is now making it commercially available, encouraging industry-wide transparency.

Over 13.4 million AI tracks have been detected and tagged on Deezer in 2025, with more than 60,000 AI tracks now uploaded per day.

The AI detection tool has been in place since the beginning of 2025, and is also used by Billboard to help keep its charts AI-free.

As long as there’s access to relevant data examples, the tool can add detection capabilities for practically any similar platform.

All fully AI-generated songs on Deezer are automatically removed from algorithmic recommendations and are not included in editorial playlists.
