Instagram Carousels in Edits

Instagram has introduced new carousel editing features in its Edits app, giving creators more ways to create standout content.

Users can combine photos and videos, experiment with layouts, customize fonts, and cut out your own stickers.

The update also brings creative effects, fonts and overlays to help make carousel posts more engaging while adding the option to rearrange carousel posts and add captions within a carousel. 

Carousels remain an invaluable format for brands, with Buffer research reporting around 12% higher average engagement per post than single-image updates.

The new Carousel editing tools are available on iOS, with Android support coming soon.
