Instagram Multi-Track Audio in Reel

Instagram has announced a massive update to its Reels feature that will allow you to create videos using up to 20 tracks.

As well as adding multiple tracks, you will also be able to line them up with elements such as text, stickers, and clips while editing.

The platform sees this feature unlocking many new possibilities, such as to create an album teaser using snippets from multiple songs from it.

All you have to do is record a reel and tap the Music icon to select your first audio track, then tap ‘Edit Video’ and select ‘Add Audio’ to include more.

When you add multiple tracks, you’ll be creating your own unique ‘Audio Mix’ that will be attributed to you and can be saved and reused by fans.
