Instagram Tips for Musicians

Earlier this month, Meta presented a keynote at the TellyCast Digital Content Forum conference in London about Instagram.

The music publication Music Ally has since compiled this session into ten key tips for musicians to get the most out of the platform.

The first four tips cover Reels, outlining the three R’s of a great Reel: relevance, relatability and retention, and how to achieve them.

Tips five, six, and seven cover Carousels and why they are great for reach, usually appearing in a feed multiple times.

Interestingly, the tips that follow discourage Stories and encourage going live and driving superfans to broadcast channels.
