Instagram x Spotify: Story Audio Previews

Instagram is finally adding the ability for you to listen to previews of songs that you’ve shared from Spotify to Stories.

Previously, only the cover art and Canvas would be shared with a Spotify link, but now you will be able to hear the song as well.

The song needs to match a track within Instagram’s Audio Library as it will now automatically be appended with a Music Sticker.

In instances where a track is not matched to a song in the Audio Library, it will be shared without a Music Sticker in the previous way.

This feature builds on a wider partnership with Spotify that includes the ability to add music discovered on Instagram to Liked Songs.
