
Meta Partnership Ads Update

Meta has released an update to its Partnership Ads that will enable partners to choose whether to display their handle or not on Partnership promotions.
Before this update, Partnership Ads would display the handles of both the brand/partner and collaborator at the top of the post.
Now, you are given the option to hide the brand/partner handle, which could make these posts seem more organic in-stream.
However, a small “Sponsored” tag can now be seen in place of the location marker to signal that it is an ad and avoid deception.
This update was made because users don’t typically respond well to overtly tagged promotions, but Meta still aims to maintain a sense of transparency.
