SoundCloud Direct Music Purchases

SoundCloud has launched the beta of direct music purchases, allowing a select group of artists to sell tracks directly from their profiles.

This means fans will be able to discover, purchase, and download music without having to leave the platform.

It also means that artists gain another way to earn revenue from the audiences they’ve already built.

SoundCloud takes no commission on purchases, with artists receiving 100% of the proceeds from each sale.

The beta begins with approximately 200 US-based Artist Pro creators, allowing SoundCloud to learn directly from the artists using it.
