Spotify Turn Up Aus Report

As part of the Turn It Up Aus campaign, Spotify has released a new Global Impact Report that reveals how Aussie music resonates worldwide.

The aim of this report is to spark a broader conversation about how the music industry can continue to support that momentum.

A significant finding of the report shows that export streams of Australian artists on Spotify grew 37% from March 2021 to March 2025.

It also shows that the top five international markets for Aussie music are the US, the UK, Germany, Brazil, and Canada.

Dance music leads the way with international popularity, with more than 1 billion streams in March 2025 alone.
