Tidal Royalties Tracking Tool

Tidal has recently launched some new features that will let you track your royalties and manage the music you have songwriting credits for.

Music royalties are complex and keeping track of them can be a difficult task, so the platforms aim is to streamline that process.

In the US, all collaborators on a given track must be registered with a Performing Rights Organisation (PRO) and get an Interested Party Information (IPI) number.

All artists who have a PRO and IPI number can claim their profile on Tidal after verifying their documentation and start tracking royalties.

For artists who are just getting started, the platform also provides an option to sign up with AllTrack, a digital PRO.
