TikTok and SoundCloud Electronic Music Statistics

The annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) took place last week, during which TikTok and Soundcloud both unveiled new statistics on electronic music.

TikTok showed that videos using electronic music are up 70% this year with drum’n’bass, techno, and trance at the forefront.

To capitalise on this growth, the platform is expanding the #ElectronicMusic hub available in the UK to now be a global feature.

Meanwhile, SoundCloud announced that electronic music fans are the most engaged on its service, with uploads of the genre set to keep growing.

Trance was revealed to be the platform’s fastest growing Electronic subgenre, with House and Hardcore following close behind.
