TikTok Desktop Update

TikTok is known and loved as a mobile-first platform, but now that could change as it is redefining its desktop experience.

This new experience features a new modular layout, a refreshed For You feed, a new Explore tab, immersive full-screen LIVEs, and a Floating Player.

These updates are designed to create a seamless, unified viewing experience that mirrors the beloved features of the mobile app.

Most notably, the Floating Player is web-exclusive via Google Chrome and will allow you to keep TikTok visible above your other windows.

This is all part of TikTok’s efforts to ensure the platform remains a fun, special and inclusive space for everyone.
