YouTube Communities Tab

YouTube is launching a new tab within channels called Communities, where fans can interact by sharing posts and pictures.

The Communities tab was built as a space where subscribers can chat with each other as well as with the creator of the channel directly.

The platform’s aim is to provide a whole new level of interaction which will take some pressure off creators to always make new content.

This new feature comes as a result of feedback from creators and fans in which they said they wanted more ways to connect with one another.

YouTube is currently testing Communities with a small group of creators but it has plans to continue to roll it out throughout the rest of the year and into the start of 2025.
