YouTube has introduced its latest AI tool Reimagine to YouTube Shorts, putting a whole new spin on remixing content.

Reimagine gives users the ability to transform a single frame from an existing Short into an entirely new 8-second clip.

With just a few taps, viewers can insert themselves or objects into any eligible Short using up to two reference images.

Then, using either Gemini-suggested or custom-generated text prompts, Reimagine creates a high-quality video with audio.

Every Reimagined Short links directly back to the original work, ensuring creators receive credit while expanding their reach.
