YouTube’s New Charts

To keep up with modern times, YouTube is replacing its Trending page with new category-specific charts.

These category-specific charts are for music videos, podcast shows, and movie trailers, with more soon to follow.

When the Trending page was first launched 10 years ago, it was a lot simpler to capture a singular list of viral videos.

Today, trends consist of many videos created by many fandoms, and there are more micro-trends enjoyed by diverse communities.

In the coming weeks both the Trending page and Trending Now list will be removed and you will find popular content on YouTube Charts.
